Refund Policy
A 30-day refund on any commercial license, for any reason. No forms to justify yourself with.

The 30-day window
If you buy a commercial license for localsink and it is not right for you, you can request a full refund within 30 days of the purchase date. You do not need to give a reason, and we will not ask you to justify the request.
This applies whether you changed your mind, the Software did not fit your workflow, or you simply bought the wrong thing. It applies to the initial purchase of a license and to a renewal within 30 days of that renewal being charged.
There is no free trial to evaluate before buying, and there does not need to be: the whole product is free to run for personal and non-commercial use, so you can try every feature before you pay for anything. See pricing.
How to request a refund
Paddle is our merchant of record and handles all payments, invoices and refunds for localsink. Requesting a refund from Paddle directly is the fastest route:
- Go to paddle.net, the buyer portal Paddle runs for its customers.
- Enter the email address you used at checkout. Paddle emails you a login link.
- Find the order and request a refund.
Your receipt from Paddle also contains a direct link to manage the order. If you cannot find it, or you would rather deal with us, email support@localsink.io from the address you bought with, include the order number from your receipt, and we will authorize the refund with Paddle for you.
How long it takes
Once a refund is approved, Paddle processes it back to the original payment method. Card refunds typically appear within 3–5 business days, though some banks take up to 10. The exact timing is your bank's, not ours.
You will receive a confirmation email from Paddle when the refund is issued. Refunds are made in the currency you were charged in; where the amount you receive differs because of exchange rate movement between the purchase and the refund, that difference is your card issuer's.
What happens to your license
When a refund is issued, the commercial license it paid for ends. You must stop using localsink commercially from that point. You are welcome to keep using the Community Edition for personal and non-commercial work — it is the same software, and nothing is deactivated or removed from your machine.
Requests outside the window
After 30 days we consider refund requests case by case, and we would rather hear from you than not. If something has gone wrong — a duplicate charge, a license you were billed for but never used, a renewal you did not intend — email support@localsink.io and tell us what happened. We will do what is fair.
To avoid an unwanted renewal in the first place, you can cancel a subscription at any time at paddle.net. Canceling stops the next charge; it does not end the term you have already paid for, which runs to its end date.
Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits any right you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded by contract — including, for consumers in the UK and EU, the statutory right to withdraw from a distance purchase. Where a statutory right gives you more than this policy does, the statutory right applies.
Because Paddle is the merchant of record for your purchase, its refund policy and buyer terms also apply to the transaction. Where this policy is more generous than Paddle's, this policy is what we honor.
